The Centre for Digital Scholarship
Our Centre for Digital Scholarship explores how new and emerging technologies can enhance learning, teaching and research in the visual arts and beyond.
Working in partnership with educational institutions and research projects all over the world, it develops solutions that allow us to better curate and engage with digital resources.
Run by Leigh Garrett and Amy Robinson, VADS is a UCA Library [link] service that provides a national collection of over 140,000 images from more than 300 art and design collections across the UK, making them freely available for non-commercial use in education. The images cover a broad range of visual arts, including applied arts, architecture, design, fashion, fine art, and media.
